Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne is on the list mainly because he has swag and confidence. In a rapper I believe swag is important. Along with his swag he has great word play. Lil Wayne has always been a great rapper most people wouldn't agree but I believe he was more passionate about what he was doing when he was younger. Yeah he kissed Baby and Gillie writes his rhymes, looking past that he still makes the world happy when they see his name on a track.
One of the most creative rappers. Works hard and makes good music. Its obvious he loves what he does and he loves his people. Street Disciples was a great album that people sleep on.
Conscious. Right now I find myself listening to a lot of Common Sense. His older stuff is unbelievable. "Like Water for Chocolate" has to be his best album. Common is a very uplifting brother and I respect that.
Dre 3000
3 Stacks has been on my list for a long time. I never seen anybody flow like he does and say something deep in the whole mix. People think he is weird but I think he has his self figured out. I don't think I've heard a bad 3 Stacks verse. And, as far as "Hey Ya" goes I think the song was entertaining. I think that whole "Love Below" album was great for the simple fact he switched it up and did something different.
REAL. Scarface is real. He doesn't stunt and he tells it like it is. Probably the oldest rapper in the game that can still rip. I don't think anybody can come out of there mouth and say Scarface is a wack rapper. FACEMOB!
